Here are ten popular things to do in Orlando, Florida:
1. Walt Disney World Resort: Explore the iconic theme parks, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. (All ages- I find the under 12 crowd love it the best)
2. Universal Orlando Resort: Enjoy thrilling rides and attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. (All ages- I think there is something for everyone here. This is where your teens will enjoy it the most)
3. SeaWorld Orlando: Experience marine life shows, roller coasters, and interactive exhibits at this popular aquatic theme park. (All Ages- especially under 12 crowd. Downfall are the opening hours)
4. ICON Park: Visit this entertainment complex for dining, shopping, and attractions like The Wheel, a 400-foot-tall observation wheel.
5. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex: Discover the history of space exploration through exhibits, astronaut encounters, and rocket launches. (Loved this! Great for tweens to teens that like space or science)
6. Orlando Science Center: Engage in interactive exhibits and hands-on science activities for visitors of all ages. ( Especislly Under 12 years)
7. Gatorland: Explore the "Alligator Capital of the World" with shows featuring these reptiles, a zip line over alligator breeding marsh, and more. Or I prefer to see them in the wild in an AIR BOAT RIDE THROUGH THE GLADES! (Everyone)
8. Orlando Museum of Art: Appreciate a diverse collection of art, ranging from contemporary works to ancient artifacts. (Quiet kids that love learning and going to museums)
9. Lake Eola Park: Relax in this downtown park, paddleboat on the lake, and enjoy the scenic surroundings. (Adventure families)
10. Old Town - International Drive. This is an old school Florida Tourist Area. Walk down the man made streets and visit all of the shops. Stop for an old glass cola bottle or some ice cream. Our kids love going on the "all you can ride" rides. Fun to go to at night to see it all lit up.
There are so many things to do in Orlando. This list is not in any particular order. The trick is to do new things and not all of our old favourites! See you there!
