Old Town Old School Fun!

Every year that we are in the Orlando area, we head to Old Town in Kissimmee which is not far from Orlando. There is a larger one directly in Orlando. I have been going to this one in Kissimmee yearly since I was 5 years old! As adults, my husband and I have brought our children there. Those children are now teenagers and love it even more!

There are three sections to this location. The first section is Old Town (free) where you can find a cool old leather shop, sovenvirs, ice cream. It is a best place to walk around and see times of old. Often, you will hear a country band or kareoke playing live outside. Don't forget, at the back of the area there are done "kiddy" rides. One in particular seems spooky. You have to go see it in order to understand the depth of spooky! The teenagers loved it. I believe they went on it three times! The other two rides were fine for the wee ones. The second section is very small, but mighty! My kids think this is amazing. There is a Slingshot ride in the corner. It is a very fun thrilling adrenaline ride. You pay separately for this and receive the video and a shirt. Trust me, you want the video! lol! Lastly, is Fun Spot. Fun Spot America in Kissimmee, Florida, is a bustling amusement park offering a myriad of old school thrilling rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. Nestled in the heart of Orlando's entertainment district, Fun Spot Kissimmee boasts a wide array of adrenaline-pumping activities, including roller coasters, go-kart tracks, bumper cars, and arcade games. Whether you're seeking heart-pounding excitement or family-friendly fun, this vibrant park promises an unforgettable experience.

One of the park's highlights is its impressive selection of roller coasters, ranging from towering giants to compact, twisting layouts. Thrill-seekers can soar through the air on rides like the Mind Blower, a wooden coaster featuring daring drops and tight turns, or experience the exhilarating loops and corkscrews of the Freedom Flyer. For those preferring a slower pace, classic attractions like the Ferris wheel offer panoramic views of the surrounding area, perfect for capturing memorable moments with loved ones.

In addition to its rides, Fun Spot Kissimmee boasts an extensive arcade area, where guests can test their skills and win prizes on a variety of games. From classic arcade cabinets to cutting-edge interactive experiences, there's something for every gaming enthusiast. The park also hosts special events throughout the year, such as concerts, festivals, and holiday celebrations, ensuring that each visit offers something new and exciting for guests to enjoy. With its thrilling rides, vibrant atmosphere, and endless entertainment options, Fun Spot Kissimmee is a must-visit destination for families and thrill-seekers alike.

Overall, when we asked the 10 kids that were with us what park they liked best... they all agreed that it was Fun Spot Kissimmee. So, you could save yourself a lot of money and go there instead of the typical Orlando theme parks. One other way to save money is to head there at night and wait for the price drop. Very few people have ever been there in the spring when we were there. No line ups! Probably a big reason why the kids love it!
