A Review of Disney’s Boardwalk

Disney's BoardWalk is a somewhat lively waterfront entertainment district located adjacent to Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Beach Club Resort in Orlando, Florida. Inspired by the timeless charm of Atlantic City's boardwalks of the early 20th century, this once bustling area offers a unique blend of dining, entertainment options and a tiny bit of shopping. Whether strolling along the promenade, enjoying a meal at one of the many hotel or stand alone restaurants, or taking in the vibrant nightlife, visitors are transported to a bygone era of seaside fun and nostalgia.

The BoardWalk features an eclectic mix of dining establishments, ranging from casual eateries to upscale restaurants, serving a diverse array of culinary delights. Guests can savor traditional American fare at the ESPN Club, indulge in fresh seafood at Flying Fish, or satisfy their sweet tooth at the BoardWalk Bakery. We ate at the Broadwalk Deli. My Ruben sandwich was the best I have eaten! With its charming ambiance and delectable cuisine, the BoardWalk offers a dining experience to suit every palate and occasion.

In addition to its dining options, the BoardWalk is home to a variety of entertainment venues, including the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls dueling piano bar. These lively establishments provide nightly entertainment ranging from live music and dancing to interactive performances, ensuring that there's always something exciting happening along the BoardWalk. Whether seeking a romantic evening for two or a fun-filled night out with friends and family, Disney's BoardWalk offers an enchanting atmosphere and an abundance of entertainment options for guests of all ages to enjoy.

This location is perfect for walking to Disney's Epcot or taking a river boat over to Hollywood Studios. It is only steps away from your hotels. Remember, if you stay on property you get in an hour early! Although the Swan and Dolphin hotels are technically no longer apart of Disney's hotel groupings, you still get in early to Epcot and Hollywood Studios for sure. This allowed us to go through 7 rides before the general public.

A final note to Boardwalks charm is that during the day it can be quiet. I love strolling along the promenade. Don't forget... while you are strolling make sure that you stop in at Beaches and Cream for a snack! Best ice cream in Disney!
